Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Webcrawl (the "Service"), a hosted web scraping and data-extraction workspace accessible via a browser Playground, a REST API, and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. By creating an account or redeeming a license, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Webcrawl lets you fetch, crawl, map, search, and extract structured data from webpages you direct it to, and to automate that work via API keys or the MCP server. The Service is provided as-is; we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, though we'll make a reasonable effort to avoid disrupting active workspaces without notice.

3. Accounts & licensing

Webcrawl is sold as a single flat-price license per workspace — one code unlocks every mode, your workspace's credit allowance, and its seat count. Licenses are non-transferable between workspaces once redeemed. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your workspace, including actions taken by teammates you invite.

4. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for how you use the Service, including complying with the terms of service, robots.txt, and applicable law of every site or source you target. See our Responsible Use page for specifics. We may suspend or terminate a workspace that we determine, in good faith, is being used to violate this section or to cause harm to third-party systems.

5. Connected AI providers

Extract mode calls a third-party AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or a self-hosted Ollama model) that you connect yourself. Your use of a connected provider is subject to that provider's own terms; Webcrawl is not responsible for their availability, pricing, or output.

6. Payment & refunds

The license fee is a one-time charge for access to a workspace. If something is broken on our end and the Service materially fails to work as described, contact support and we'll make it right, including a refund at our discretion within a reasonable period of purchase.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any specific target site can be fetched, or that extracted data will be complete or accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webcrawl is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including from your use of data it returns.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
